I admit I really don’t know if it’s daytime or nighttime. I guess it depends on which part of the world you are referencing. My eyes and my body say it’s night but the bright Doha desert sun says differently. We spent an entire 24 hours on a plane and in airports. We had to wear masks for the entire 13 hour flight but survived. The foreign food that they served was good and bad. I couldn’t take more than one bite of a mush room sandwich but enjoyed the orange juice. Thankfully we have fruit and potatoes to hold us over for two weeks. After watching a movie (Sort of. I think I had to watch the ending 4 times because I kept falling asleep I prepared my presentation for the seminarians Fr Jude is training. Reflecting upon the Eucharist, devotion to Mary, prayer life, and asceticism gets me really excited to attend the Ugandan Martyrs celebration. Yesterday’s conversation with a man from Uganda had one turn that I never considered. He said that we should consider sponsoring Public Service Announcements on the radio to teach people about sound health practices such as high blood pressure and communicable diseases. The country relies heavily on radios to disseminate information. People have them on their motorbikes and in the fields while they are farming. One last five and a half hour flight before finally seeing Fr Jude.

You are almost here! Enjoy your time in Doha one of the best airports!
